Twitter is changing to be like other social media apps. Like a commonly used app, Snapchat, Twitter is adding the feature of Fleets. A fleet message or post is one that permanently deletes after 24 hours. In 2013 is when Snapchat created this feature. Late followers including YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Discluding normal tweets, a fleet does not receive retweets, public replies, or likes. People can only reply to these tweets through district messagges, much like Instagrams story feature. Fleets will not appear on people’s twitter timelines, like regular tweets. This feature is just an option of many on twitter.
